It seems we will see Kaine again in Ben Reilly's new series by Peter David and Mark Bagley.
No word on Aracely... yet.

That's indeed some great News.....can't wait to see how things will play out for both Kaine and Ben(Scarlet Spider/Jackal) when this Spider-Series debut.
The Scarlet is alive!
Man poor Kaine. First after his solo being about him getting a second chance at life having been healed of the clone degeneration, Slott brought it back only to have him be the only clone not fixed by the sound frequency at the end of Clone Conspiracy and now Ben's been fixed but he's still got the scars that show he's still got the degeneration. I really hope that Ben helps him at some point in the book.
Preview of next week's issue
It begins with a brief coda to the previous arc, with Kaine miffed that Ben gets offered redemption instead of him before swinging off in a huff, we then flash forward, and Vegas' destruction is at last acknowledged, Ben's thoughts turn to Kaine's whereabouts...but he hopes he doesn't want any assistance from him

It's definitely an interesting conversation that they had where neither is truly wrong and you can sympathize with both. For Kaine, it's a matter that he's been selfless and gave up his chance to just leave the country and became a hero who saved people numerous times and, even after the clone degeneration came back, he worked tirelessly to find a way to stop his world from falling to New U and yet, in spite of all his efforts to be a hero, life just throws it back in his face while Ben gets rewarded.
On Ben's part though, he really never did want to kill anyone and, even as the Jackal, just tried to give others back those who they lost and only succumbed to attempted murder when Peter and Kaine kept getting in his way. He even tried to rehabilitate the villains he brought back. And ever since he returned to his Scarlet Spider persona, he has been legitimately trying to help people as a hero.
Kaine though, you're really left feeling bad for considering his situation. For him, it's like the Parker Luck cranked up to 11.
Yeah... and of course, at this point, we don't even know if Kaine is alive. Did Hydra Cap take another hero off the board?
Pretty much this. Still hoping there's a way to fix his own clone degeneration. I have some ideas in that regard, but most of those involve tangling with Mister Sinister (whose own cloning research was pirated by Miles Warren in Chris Yost's Scarlet Spider and Superior Spider-Man Team-Up) or raiding Alchemax's labs for its genetic research (particularly involving a certain All-New Wolverine).
I hope not. Kaine deserves better.

For those interested Kaine will be a major supporting character in my Scarlet Spider/Doki Doki Literature Club crossover story "Two Lost Souls" -

Thanks, I've been enjoying it so far.
