Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.

They'll win at some point. They have games vs. San Diego (who just lost Keenan Allen to a bad knee injury), Buffalo, and Tennessee. Oh, and they get the rest of the NFC East, at different points, who are hardly juggernauts these days.

They aren't beating Buffalo. I don't think they can beat San Diego either. Tennessee maybe. NFC East I always think is overrated but will see

Buffalo's been decimated by injuries and suspensions. I mean, I'd have to check the schedule for what week they play, but if it's in the next few weeks, they might have a chance.

Then again, if they play late, the Browns get Josh Gordon back in Week 5.

It's pretty hard to actually get run by the table, you have to be so bad it's epic. It's been done twice, and only once in a 16 game season as far as I know.
    Dark does not mean deep.

    • Packers hang on and beat the Jags in Jacksonville, 27-23, but it was real close. Jags were moving the ball late, but failed to convert on a 4th and 1.
    • KC did complete their comeback and beat the Chargers in OT. Chargers' offense stalled after they lost Keenan Allen to a knee injury.
    • Raiders beat the Saints at the Superdome in spite of Brees having a stat line of 434 yards passing, 4 TD, 0 INT, because they can't play defense. As The Big G pointed out, Oakland's coach Jack Del Rio showed major balls, as their comeback involved going for 2-point conversions, twice, and succeeding because... well, Saints defense.
    • Bills are beat by the Ravens 13-7 because Rex Ryan can't coach offense.
    • Eagles handle the Factory of Sadness rather easily, 29-10, with rookie QB Carson Wentz leading the way. Right now, it's hard to determine anything about either team here, in terms of relative good/bad. But it doesn't look good for the Browns (as if it ever does).
    • Titans turn a 10-0 lead into a turnover fest and lose to the Vikings, who did not score an offensive TD.
    • And, it's been awhile since we could say this... but Tampa Bay is alone in first in the NFC South. Jameis Winston had a great game out there, and they salted the victory away with a big dose of Doug Martin.

The Lions were 0-16 in 2008.
Buccaneers were 0-14 in their inaugural season in 1976.

That's it. Even the expansion Saints could sneak in a win a year with Archie Manning.

    back on the Browns.

    Brian Billick weighed in:

You'll dismiss this as "Billick just trashing the Browns again" but seriously...look at schedule & find a single win. You can't do it!
"I WOULD NEVER PREDICT ANYBODY TO GO 0-16 OR 16-0. IT'S STATISTICALLY IMPROBABLE. THEY'RE GOING TO BE AN UNDERDOG IN ANY OF THESE GAMES, IN MY OPINION, AND IT'S GOING TO BE A TOUGH ROAD."
