I have never read anything with her in it except Suicide Squad #1 way back in 2011, but I hear she got a significant upgrade so I couldn't really make a guess even.

Does Harley regularly carry a gun? I haven't seen many of her appearances but, of those I have seen, I never recall her using a gun. If not, then it would not be standard equipment for her. I readily grant that Gabrielle is done for if she has a gun and any distance between them. Gabrielle is not Xena, as you said. I've seen Harley do some impressive acrobatics. Not so sure on her actual fighting skills against someone skilled and not holding back.
