Wow, I did not expect that X-men characters were going to be in the top four. Maybe Storm, but still its cool to see Rogue and Jean get some love. Heck Emma hasn't even been seen in comics since like Secret Wars so its cool to see that she's so high up and the same for Invisible Woman she also hasn't been seen in a while too. Its also cool to see that Ms. Marvel is so high too since she is like a newer character.

She is second in forum poll... but remember Storm had 358 points and 55 votes while Rogue had 296 points and 49 votes. Many people like Rogue (like as 5th-10th character) but less as 1st - 4th(compared to Storm. There is possibility that people like Rogue but not enough to buy her books.

We had reddit/cbr poll few days ago(all superheroes)... She was 24th... or if You prefer 11th X man... big difference
why? she is not in the movies plus her last books had weak first volumes and she is not in X men books

she has many different versions...
Hulk? Iron Man? Wolverine? - one word and this is enough. You know what i mean...
but Rogue? TAS? Evo/movie? different versions with different powers. Probably many people like only one version.

there is also possibility that she can be in MCU but without her mutant powers...
she didn't use her powers after AXIS...
they don't mention them at all

Carey in his podcast said that he picked Rogue for his Supernovas/Legacy because other writers were more important and they pick their heroes first.

That helps... not being in comics for short time usually helps ... especially when we know that she will be in DoX/IvX and people talk about this series
