    Default Does anyone miss Exiles

It has been five years since the last Exiles comic was released and I'm wondering if anyone misses what was once a popular series. I started getting it around issue #90 something and I got all the ones after that including New Exiles and volume 2. I've recently bought the Ultimate Collections and have started to read those. The series was unique where you could see characters that you've seen as heroes get turned into villains and the other way around. One other thing about the series that they only really do in Ultimate Marvel is that they kill off a character and they stay dead no matter how much character development they get.

I'm sure that people really miss this series and I wanna hear people's opinions.

    It was a great series.
One of my favourite comics for it's first 40ish issues or so.
Lost it's way a bit later on, but still really enjoyed it.

I like the concept of the title but if it isn't done like Sliders or Quantum Leap, where anything can happen and the cast isn't fun - then it loses its way pretty quickly. Also, should be more like Done in Ones or revisitings worlds shown in What If, as that would be pretty fun - plus it would sell some What If trades!

You have to be more specific. I miss the Exiles with Talia Josephine Wagner, yes, very, very much.

    Not the other ones.

I loved the series until Winnick left, and Parker's take was great, too. I loved that it spotlighted dead and less popular characters. I think this is where X-Treme X-men went wrong. It didn't have the heart that Exiles had.

I really liked the Magik that join the team around the 30s and Cat was a fun take on Kitty. New Exiles printed a letter of mine. That was pretty cool. It timed out nicely so that Cat responded to my letter.

Exiles was a great title and I loved the whole exploration of the Marvel Multiverse through different quests. My hope is that in the near future that there will be a new Exiles on-going title.

This sums up my feelings perfectly.
Plus I have to say that Mike Mckone was at the top of his game on this series. The issues where Mimic is a one man army storming Doom's castle and then taking on Namor were beautifully awesome. Especially that scene with pissed off Mimic glowing hot in his metal form.

I like the original team and the changing roster. It fell off for me near the end and the second was pretty bad. The 3rd I did not bother with. I liked the X-treme X-men volume 2...it was basically Exiles.
