Remember me not working and invalid redirect

When I use the bookmark to come to the forum page I have to sign in every time, even though I click on the remember me fucntion and every time I sign in it fails to load the forum main page and gives me an "invalid redirect" error message. It started yesterday, and has continued to happen every time I come to the forums since, no matter if I go away for 5 minute sand come back to it, or shut down the computer and am away for hours before navigating to the page.

Has their been a change to the forum url or some other change that would make my bookmark incorrect? I am not sure if this is happening to anyone else or just me, as no one else is posting about it. I use Chrome as my browser on my desktop where this is happening.

Its happening to me on Firefox as well.

I've had the same thing happening now to me and I am using chrome. I also hit the "remember me". There's a couple of other MBs and Facebook, etc. that I log into daily with no problem with those apps remembering me.

When I do get logged in, I get this message next...

Cleared out my Google Chrome user history today, and ever since, CBR Forums won't keep me logged in any time I switch off a browser tab through which I'm reading the CBR Forums. "Remember Me" box is checked, so it's not that.

When I do log back in, it doesn't take me directly to the forums, but offers the message, "Invalid Redirect" or some such.

I mentioned the same problem a few days ago in a thread about the Remember me not working. A few others are experiencing similar problems, but there has been no response form a mod or tech type person.

Incidentally, are you folks sure you've got the right URL bookmarked? The forums are at http://community.comicbookresources.com/. I know I had what you're describing happen to me a few times before I updated it.

That was it. My bookmark to here is still http://forums.comicbookresources.com/. I've since updated it and its working fine.

It fixed it for me as well, thanks. Not sure when the url change dot make my bookmark out of date, but updating it did the trick. Darn my Luddite tendencies for not figuring it out sooner.
