Wow, what a lazy job on this list considering most of them have had solo books. That said I'd kbe all over a new Taskmaster book, but I'd rather it be more like the first UDON one and less like the second one

quicksilver did have his own series. what I would like is a series where he and Wanda find that the higher evolutionary was their true father which will be whispered in his ear by the proud father himself causing him to lose his speed and take up studying genetics. marvel comics present the man of many fathers the true quicksilver origin which will be the first and final one. no really.
Quicksilver had his solo back in the 90s, Son of M, and a What-If? One-shot. But yeah, it would be great if Pietro had a solo ongoing. It is really about time he be given a proper push.
My ideal book would be one written by Peter David or Christos Gage, illustrated by Carmine Di Giandomenico. Having a mentor relationship with Speed, revealing more about Nestor and how Pietro becomes him, and oh yes, undo the retcon that he isn't the mutant son of Magneto.
Mini series don't count?
TRUTH, JUSTICE, HOPE
That is, the heritage of the Kryptonian Warrior: Kal-El, son of Jor-El

Looks like I'll have to move past gameplay footage
Mini series or being featured or co-featured in on-going series at one point or another must not count.
I'd buy an Invisible Woman series, if done right. (Seriously, Sue deserves more love around here.) I also wouldn't mind seeing The Chaste, Mr. Immortal, Hela, Jean Grey/Phoenix, and Monica Rambeau all get at least a 12 issue mini series.
Ehhh . . . I don't think Englehart would be the right choice. He used her a lot in the '80s, and it was pretty much never to her benefit. No disrespect to Englehart, but he really didn't write Tigra well.
Quicksilver's had two solo series. One in the '90s, and Son of M after House of M.
I genuinely do not understand why Marvel hasn't already announced an Iceman solo. He got tons of press when he came out, and he's a fairly popular character. And they're trying to make a pretty big deal out of pushing diversity. So why not give him a shot? Sure, it won't last very long. But screw it, neither will Solo, Foolkiller or Slapstick, and they're all getting solos. So give Iceman a solo with the expectation it'll run for 12 issues. It just makes sense, and I honestly have to wonder if plain, simple homophobia is why they're not doing it.
I wonder if the same homophobia is also why they haven't yet announced a Ms. America solo. Solid and vocal fanbase, lots of creators love her, female, Latinx and gay for a triple-play of diversity. Great core concept, great power set, tons of stories that could be told with her. So what the hell is the hold-up?
I would love a Kitty solo. Actually, I want a Kitty/Illyana duo book where they confess their feelings for each other and explore a romantic relationship while on a road trip. But failing that, a Kitty solo would be great.
Referring to an above post - I didn't specificallY mean Englehart for the writer. Just a writer that has a skill set similar to his or Johns. A writer that can examine and use a character's past as a layer for new stories. Not what seem so t be the more recent trend of tossing out a lot of character history and starting over.
What I wouldn't want is a version of Tigra akin to the crappy series Hellcat is currently stuck with.
Anyone know if there is one of those black and white phone book type of reprints for Tigra/Greer Nelson/ the Cat??
I actually love the current Hellcat series, and I think it's gone to great lengths to make use of Patsy's history. I mean, Hedy goddamn Wolfe has been the main antagonist. That's all the way back to her original romance comics. The fact that her mother made a deal with demons was a plot point, and the most recent issue mentioned it again (while also exploring her two marriages, including referencing the fact that Patsy went to Hell for Daimon). Like, I'm honestly not sure what history you think has been tossed out, because Kate Leth seems to be almost obsessive about making use of Patsy's history, for both fun and drama.
Not much material to go by, but I always hoped that Paladin had a limited series or may have been a Hero for Hire. I liked his code name, costume, gear, and the modest level of super strength and agility. Liked how he worked with the Wasp in that one issue of Avengers long ago. Respected her as taking lead and was gentlemanly escort for her on the cruise ship. Stern was good with bringing a character for an issue or two. He handled Steve Lang's appearance with the Wasp very nicely author also back then - it helped to have John Buscema on pencils also. Buscema never did a character from outside the normal cast in such away that you'd think he was trying to put his own brand on him or her.
