don't get me wrong i loved Harley Quinn in suicide squad she was really dope but seeing her in a solo movie in my eyes wouldn't work .
Harley Quinn works better when she's within a team or with the joker as he makes her who she is and they bounce of each other .

Good thing it's not going to BE a solo movie. The articles make it very clear that Robbie's pitch for this movie was that it's supposed to be an ensemble cast featuring several female DC heroes and/or villains. The pitch doesn't even necessarily declare Harley to be the star of the movie. Just one of the ensemble.

And I voted yes. Harley's a hot item and fans love her. She makes money. That's all the justification you need to do more with her.

She is popular in comics, maybe second to Batman in DC. We will see if that translates to box office success.

I'd say we need a Harley Quinn movie more than we needed yet another remake of Tarzan, Godzilla, Peter Pan, or King Kong. Probably more than another Ghostbusters, James Bond, Batman, Star Trek, or Star Wars for that matter.

I vote yes. Harley Quinn was the best part of Suicide Squad. She has a unique presence and charisma to her, one that I think could make for a quirky yet entertaining movie. With the growing trend towards more female-centric movies, I think Harley Quinn would be a perfect addition to it, if only because she'd bring something different to the table.

Having said that, if it's good then absolutely go for it. The pitched idea sounds interesting, but I doubt that concept would be what ended up in the final release.
