Default DC was the first to hit this milestone

Harley Quinn v3 #1 was the first book this decade (maybe longer or ever) written by a female writer and starring a female character to be the top selling title during its debut.
How come no one wants to celebrate this achievement?
    Props to amanda conner
Even though she's mostly an artist her success as a writer is not going unnoticed

Well, to be fair, it's co-written with her husband, but still a pretty big milestone .

Because Harley Quinn is problematic and a bad role model so she doesn't count

Props to Amanda Conner. I still don't care too much about Harley, I guess I'm not anti-Harley... She just doesn't do it for me.
Did you know that every atom in our bodies was once part of a star? Think about that… EVERYTHING changes. Caterpillars turn into butterflies and stars turn into @$$holes.

That's great, thanks for pointing it out.
DC should indeed celebrate this achievement.

Just curious what if any other female lead books have been the top selling title of a month?

Princess Leia #1 last year, and Tomb Raider #1 in the 90s. Probably more but I know of those 2.
