I am positive Marvel's reprinted Moore's entire run. I think they've also reprinted the first volume of Gaiman's "Golden Age". Eclipse issues 17-22. I do not think issues 23 and 24 have been reprinted as yet and the continuation of that story remains a big mystery.

In Marvel Comics #1000, Miracleman makes a one-page appearance. Written by Gaiman, no less.

So he's part of the 616 MU now? They should call him Marvelman again.

No, he is actually shown reading Marvel Comics #1 and the MU is explicitly stated to be fictional.

Here's the page if you want to take a look.

And speaking of Miracleman and Marvel 1000, he's going to be on the cover of the reprint with art by Mark Buckingham!

That page (and the reprinted covered) reminded me of those when Quantum Superman, in Multiversity, was talking about meta narrative of comics.

It's pretty clear they're sticking with Miracleman. Which I think is the right move.

Agreed, the artwork is very nice. It also helps that both paper stock & coloring techniques have improved throughout the years.

If it will help mend a few fences, then I'm all for it.

Either name suits me just fine. But I do agree that Miracleman has a certain ring to it.
