USAvengers designates ever state and Avenger

Saw this on the front page, felt the need to comment on it.

I'm curious how this is going to work. Are they jst randomly going to assign Avengers to different states. I know I can't reallt think of an Avenger that fits as the Idaho or Wisconssin representative.

Also Cage really needs a $#@%$! costume! The least he could do is like the old Mage comic did and have him wear a T-shirt with a superhero logo on it. Looking at those covers, it's like "Here's Captain America, Here's Beast, here's random black guy that just wandered in..."

I don't think it's an actual plot line, more an excuse to do 50 variant covers with different Avengers on because of the team's name.

I would hope it's not a plot again. They just did that for Avengers Initiative, and it doesn't really work well.

Wow that's a lot of varients.

That aside, it's nice that marvel remembers SHIELD is an international organization under the UN rather than the US. It's always weird how that sort of bounces around. But the idea of a government sanctioned Avengers team has potential.

Still think US Agent should be on the team, but oh well.

I agree that it is odd to have a Canada variant, but to be fair, it's not like the team is made up entirely of Americans... Sunspot is Brazilian, POD is Finnish...
