I think there only using Avengers and former Avengers which Dani doesnt fit either category.

Not as a combatant though. She was teaching a student whose powers were similar to what she lost on M-Day. I guess a similar case would be Speedball. He taught at Avengers Academy but was also never actually an Avenger.
