Right, I get that not all of the Avengers are American, obviously, but the team is called USAvengers. I get Puerto Rico, of course, but it seems odd to include them and not Guam, USVI, and the rest of the US territories. Not to mention Washington, DC. More people live in DC than Vermont. Why include Canada and exclude places like Guam and DC that are actually part of the USA? Anyway, if I was Canadian, I would be insulted by being included at all in the domain of "USAvengers" honestly, but then they add insult to injury with 1.9% representation.

POD was the armor, which was destroyed in last month's issue of New Avengers. Aikku will be called Enigma in U.S.Avengers.

Probably could just have called the variant covers 'American Avengers' since Canada is part of North America, and it would then be technically accurate.

Since half of the Marvel Universe are from New York City (not even New York state which apparently has a few people in it, too), it's funny how they have to assign all these New Yorkers to represent various other states.

And then there's all the fantasy folk. Crystal, representing Attilan! Thor, representing Asgard! Namor, representing Atlantis! Black Panther, representing Wakanda! Scarlet Witch, representing Transia/Sokovia! Iron Doom, representing Latveria!

Well, both involve choices that'll probably result in better sales. Iron Man is pretty strongly associated with California because of the movie and because of his West Coast Avengers days.

I'm curious how this is going to work. Are they jst randomly going to assign Avengers to different states. I know I can't reallt think of an Avenger that fits as the Idaho or Wisconssin representative.
