Default Forget Uncanny, New Avengers is the best X book in ANAD *SPOILERS*

Not sure about the general consensus on this book but as new mutants fan I've been loving it. The past few issues has been a blast. Having both cannonball AND warlock in a team led by Roberto is pretty amazing. The new mutants references are pretty fun, especially when berto and warlock combine. I'm hoping that we can get dani, cypher and magik to make an appearance at some point but thats just me being hopeful.

I'm kinda hoping the change to US Avengers isn't going to ruin it, Al Erwing is still writing it so i'm cautiously optimistic

But yeah what do you guys think about it so far?

Neither will I. Were strange as a fanbase sometimes imo. "I think comic XYZ is the GREATEST! forget all the rest". Speaking for myself I prefer variety and enjoy more than one comic.
Jean loves me this I know because the church says it so.

    Havok and Emma were right.

I love Al Ewing. He, Cullen Bunn, and now Gerry Duggan are keeping my love for Marvel alive. They know how to make these books fun, which is something that has been missing for some time.

Oddly, new avengers isn't considered a X-book in spite of many X-men original characters which are present. Will Al Ewing answer questions at the X-position?

Mediocre is even a praise it doesn't deserve.

The only X-Book that actually matters is Uncanny Avengers. The rest just have Mediocre writers.

I love New Avengers it really reads like Al Ewing has a blast writing it and he's made Roberto a magnificent bastard. While it's tone isn't as serious as the other Avengers/X titles it's consistently the most fun imo.

As to which I prefer between it and Uncanny, it goes back and forth and depends what mood I'm in.

New Avengers hasn't held my interest. I liked Wiccan's possession story but other than that everything else failed to compel me to keep reading.

If they add Magma I'd be interested.

.... I just realized you're talking about Uncanny X-Men and not Avengers. I really like NA but I don't think it feels that much like an X-Book.

    I miss her.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about the lineup of X books (or in this case, books featuring X characters) and up until recently Uncanny X-men has been winning, but the last 2 issues put this ahead for me (its probably my new mutants bias)

Kinda dropped Uncanny Avengers pretty early so I don't have solid opinions on that. Is it worth picking back up? Because I hear cable has become a mainstay and I love that guy.

Not even close. Uncanny Avengers holds that distinction.

Are we sure he's not? Though I find it funny that out of the three best X team books two are Avengers.

If it's not Uncanny X-Men, then the best X-Book is Uncanny Avengers. It's not even a contest.

I have not really had much interest in NA. I think Ewing's Ultimates is a far stronger title.
