I feel like that's out of character for Storm. I've never seen her belittle someone like that. Be angry and even hateful, yes, but this kind of nasty? It's strange. And as has been pointed out before, it's also silly from a strategic point of view, because she needs Forge to stick around.

From her interaction with Illyana in this issue though, I get the feeling she realises she's being nasty. So maybe Lemire has an end game, and is not just doing approximate characterisations because he can't be bothered? I don't know. I hope so.

Rereading "Uncanny X-Men #220" and Uncanny X-Men #226 -- I'm under the distinct impression that the images/footage were an elaborate ruse (see: UX-Men #187 and #188) machinated by the Adversary in order to take over the planet.

Yes, it looks to me like it wasn't real "footage"- just a ruse from the Adversary. I'd say that at worst it's CCTV footage, as I doubt a place like the Aerie doesn't have security cameras.

RLAAMJR: I'd say that this issue is better than 13, yes.
