Jeez...reading this thread and not recognizing 97% of these names is making me feel so out of touch. LOL Uh...Terry Dodson, I guess.
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”
I only support the made of clay origin.
I thought Scott was only doing the even numbered issues until Year One wraps up, at which point it would switch over to Liam Sharp and the present for every issue afterward? I think Rucka said at one point that they wanted to give Sharp a head start so there would be less fill ins, and used the Year One story he always wanted to tell with Scott as a convenient way around it
If I'm wrong, I'd love for Chiang to come back, or Fabok.
^But I do think the two-story format works pretty well for a bimonthly series, so I would hope that some new story/artist would arise to compliment Sharp's odd issues.
My unrealistic hopes are the usual suspects
-Amanda Conner (hasn't done interiors in 5 years, art style would clash with Sharp's somewhat)

-Babs Tarr (no longer with DC, art style wouldn't fit)

-Greg Capullo (no longer with the company)

But there are certainly others who are more open to the possibility;
-Jason Fabok (who needs no introduction)
-Sarah Stone, with the right colorist

I was under the impression that Year One was only going to be six issues and expected her to leave with part six to continue her creator owned work with Rucka, I thought this was known from the beginning.
Monthly: Batwoman, Black Hammer, Black Magick, Detective Comics, Injection, Extremity, Heathen, Lazarus, Monstress, The Old Guard.
Mini Series: Abbott, Return to Whisper, Songs for the Dead.
TPB/HC: Animosity, East of West, Invincible, Seven to Eternity, Southern Cross, The Woods.
Sharp said that the new artist was already hired and is a woman. Maybe is Ming Doyle?
My first two choices would be Bilquis Evely or Elsa Charretier (sadly at Marvel right now).
Maybe we'll be getting more interlude issues for whenever Sharp needs a break? Evely is drawing this next issue about Barbara's past, and maybe she'll be doing another one down the line to show "the wedding" with Urzkartaga, and whatever other character needs one.
I don't really want any more alternating storylines after Year One ends. I think the majority of the pacing issues people have would be solved if we got two issues for a storyline in a month instead of one.
I'd be all in favor of that if it meant revamping some other origins, as well. I'd love to see a fresh take on Nubia, Silver Swan, Psycho, or Circe. Especially with Diana not having a second in-continuity title like Tec or Action, a few one-shots focused on ancillary characters could be a great way to do that kind of worldbuilding.
