Subscribed thread notifications

I've noticed lately that email notifications for subscribed thread updates arrive either very late (can be days between the email and the new post) or not at all.

By default I use "Instant" notification for all subscribed threads.

Is this a known problem?

I'm subscribed just to one thread right now, my last notification was for three days ago. I just clicked on the link and saw posts from the last three days that I didn't get notice for, and I'm also set up for instant notice.

I also haven't gotten the Breaking News emails for the last month or so.

This seem to still be a problem, I'm not getting any emails. I thought there would be more members raising concerns so either it's only me having this problem or we've all just given up on CBR fixing things?

I think so. I started getting them again yesterday.

I gave up and turned off most e-mail notifications, now following my subscribed thread through the forum control panel only. Actually it's almost better that way, no need to go clutter my mail with them and have to delete them after opening the links.

Still getting old notifications (up to several days old!) for a subscribed thread every now and then, but that should go away over time.
