Default VOTE: Favorite good guy became bad

Most good guys who are part of the X-verse who turned bad, only did it for a short time and due to other factors, being influenced, possessed or forced into attacking the X-Men. There was done a voting thread about those, of which the results are revealed this week.

But there are also those who choose to change. Like WWII heroes Stonewall, Commando and Super Sabre, who volunteered becoming part of Freedom Force.

Or former X-Men Vulcan, or Bishop, who became enemies of their former teammates.

There are not many. So please submit a top 10 of favorites, or a top 5 if you really can not come up with 10.

These are the ones I could think of. If you have others, just add them to your top 10 and I'll add them to the list.

    Strongguy? Did I miss something?

EDIT: I was informed he became a Hell Lord, so I have added him to the list.

Colossus? If you mean his current change, we know it's under influence of Apocalypse. So....

He did choose to join Magento, but it was a brief stint. Plus there's some question of if he was even in his right mind due to a head wound.

I'm having a hard time with this one. There are characters I like here, but their turns to villainy were largely done so badly...

I'll add the specifics of the turns to villainy after each character's name.

The X-Men healed his head wound 3 or so issues later in the final part of Fatal Attractions and Peter willingly returned to the Acolytes. His grief at Illyana's death, the deaths of his entire family, the Legacy Virus, and general disillusionment with Xavier's dream were to blame, not the X-Cutioner's cranial slice and dice.

Yeah, but him joining the Acolytes did not make him a villain, right? He never even fought with the Acolytes.

Was AoA Nightcrawler "bad"? I don't remember exactly what he did (I remember he betrayed the team, but I thought it was just to get home, not to do anything particularly villainous, unlike Vulcan and Bishop, who also became "enemies of their former teammates", but did villainous things). He's my #1 if he counts, but I don't know that he should count.

    1. Bishop
    2. AoA Iceman
    3. Wither
    4. Vulcan
    5. AoA Husk
    6. Wallflower (HoM)
    7. Ultimate Psylocke
    8. Rusty Collins
    9. Ultimate Jean Grey
    10. Joseph

Molly Hayes shouldn't be valid. We learned in a subsequent arc that the Brotherhood in Battle of the Atom (except Raze) were being controlled/possessed by the young Xavier.

I disagree. Not only did David not do anything villainous, the whole point of the story was to show David's fear of what he might do without a block on his powers.
