Yeah. My brothers and I got tickets for Christmas an year and a half ago.
Sincerely,

Nick Fury saw it. That's how he lost the eye. True story.
I saw it last Thanksgiving. Honestly, I was impressed by the quality of the production. I didn't know Broadway shows were that elaborate. It even had special effects. Story wise it's nothing new or worthy. It really shinned at the end when Spidey and Goblin had a mid-air fight. To see Spidey battling the Green Goblin live with no CGI was priceless. Well, more like $100. I think it should be one of those once in a lifetime thing true Spidey fans should do.
I have not read a positive review of this thing. Sad, really. Spidey could work on stage, especially with U2 penned songs. A Batman musical would be possibly even more awesome, though.
I took my girlfriend to it for our anniversary one year.
We don't speak of that anniversary. *shudders*
I saw it for my birthday. The music is horrible. The song lyrics are horrible. The story is horrible. Swiss Miss, or whatever her name is, is horrible. Spider-Man swinging around in front of you was awesome. Not worth seeing.
Especially whoever would be playing Spider-Man. The Simpsons even made fun of that in one of their episodes.

It almost happened (late 90s-early 00s), in fact if you look hard enough online you can find files of the spec songs. I remember some were written by Jim Steinman.
Allow me to be clear: IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AWESOME!
Hillariously bad, though.
Here's a handy link to a site with some details: http://www.freewebs.com/batman_themusical/home.htm
Enjoy.
