    With 82 people having voted,
    * Dr. Charles McNider (1941) = 54 votes
    * Dr. Pieter Anton Cross (1999) = 22 votes

    I wonder if Beth's numbers may start increasing sometime in the near future?

    Really? Not in any JLA/JSA team-ups? You must be younger than I thought.

    All-Star Comics #62 was cover-dated September-October 1976.

    Dr. Mid-Nite wasn't in the 1976 JLA/JSA team-up, but he was present for 1975's (which really wasn't one that I liked; it featured Cary Bates and Elliot S! Maggin in the story itself).
    He was absent from 1974's team-up, but there was a 1940s JSA story reprinted in that issue.

    I'm a basic sonnuva gun. Pieter was my first and remains my boy. I get weirdly excited when he shows up.

    Still waiting to see if Beth Chapel's numbers will go up once she appears in Justice Society of America . . .
