Magnetic Rings Lorna/Alex Love!

I know I may be in the minority here but from my first issue of X-Factor I've been a fan of this pairing, I always loved them better together than I ever did Scott/Jean. Their interests in their academic pasts are one that they share, and the two have been shown to be perfectly happy to walk away from the whole X-world as long as they're together. They've at times been written badly while together but they've also had their high heights as well. Always wondered why they never let Alex and Lorna have a kid when they had Scott and Jean have several. Hope to see them together again sooner rather than later.

I saw Alex as a leader that wasn't put up on a high horse and had his failings front and center, he didn't hide from them but he was a noble character and truly did love Lorna...maybe that we're both the younger brother helped, I liked his powers and his look and that he wasn't always right, he was just a cool character to me. Lorna was smart and brave where Alex wasn't and vice versa, she was her own character, wasn't just Alex's girlfriend, had an interesting backstory without Magneto, didn't take herself to seriously, obviously loved Alex. Lorna could be strong when she needed to be then not when it wasn't necessary. Their relationship dynamic was fun to read, they acted like a real couple, neither seemed in charge for to long outside of Alex technically being the leader but being able to admit when he was wrong, and Lorna could make fun of him playfully, it wasn't always life and death with them. They were fun.

Alex's best man...hmm...either Cyclops or Forge I'd guess and Lorna perhaps Rhane, not sure that she'd be close enough to Wanda outside of them being sisters.

I still love that issue of X-Factor where they're fighting that big creature in the water and Alex attacks it against Lorna's advice and then gets zapped with electricity, Lorna flies down and pulls him up out of the water and playfully pokes fun at him....
