    Hal playing the Charlton Heston "Taylor" role, I would love to see Gorilla Grodd in it as well because Grodd's has always made for an interesting antagonist for Hal considering Grodd's intelligence and power set.

    Maybe taking the characters out of their comfort zone was the point. As you said, if you have Barry there he would know much better how to handle himself around hyper intelligent apes. Having Hal there, a guy who flies by the seat of his pants and often laughs things off, trying to interact with Caesar, would be really interesting to see. Or imagine how Guy would handle himself. The Green Lanterns feel way more at home in a Star Trek crossover, but Planet of the Apes? Man, that's going to be entertaining.

    This killed the entire thread for me. Flash would have been such a superior idea!

    Time travel, Grodd, alternate universes? DC missed the ball on this big time.
