But Random is someone who I have always felt, his place was in the X-Force team. Between his powers and his looks and his attitude - not putting him into an X-Force book to be unleashed seems like a missed opportunity.

Any other fans of Random out there?

The mods shut down every thread at the change of the new year. Wish they went by number of posts instead as many like the old Random thread didnt have much activity but it is what it is.

Ah, I eventually saw a bunch of "2019" threads and pieced it all together. Interesting that did that just with appreciation threads but not other threads?

Me too. I was excited when Cullen Bunn hinted that Random would show up in X-Men: Blue.

Which... turned out to be a cameo. But at least SOMEONE remembered him.

Random's arc with Polaris in X-Factor in the 90s was really cool. I enjoyed the reveals about him and also how close it seemed like Polaris was to getting through to him, but it never quite got there.

I could see him on X-Force, maybe being the Guido equivalent in terms of snark.

Also, Bushwacker, Random and Maggott would be a weird mix of personalities and eyewear/fashion.

His whole thing with Polaris is undoubtedly a heavy influence why I enjoy the character so much. Polaris is one of my favorite mutant characters! So that whole story, as you said, was really great.
And he would definitely be the snark on an X-Force team, which I don't think X-Force has really had (if you don't count Deadpool). So it would be kind of fun to have someone like him on the team.

He did appear along side... uh... Magneto... in the most recent issue of Uncanny. But didn't have any speaking parts, really. Hoping we see more of him. Especially after everything that uh happened with Magneto.
