Symphony of the Night really blew me away when I first played it. Never had I heard such eerie yet beautiful music used in a game before. it really enhanced the experience for me.

It really is. Makes me think of Frank Frazettas art also. I admit I never made it to Death Adder though..

haha I miss the old Rare. Over the years Id always hoped they would bring Battletoads back somehow.. but I guess maybe it was just a product of the times? The 90s ruled.

I'd love to see a new Battletoads game but sadly that's probably something we wont ever see.

^The original DKC had the best BGM! I especially loved the main jungle level theme, that starts with the bongos and later on takes a complete shift in tone and atmosphere. The subsequent games also had great music, but never quite on the level of the original DKC, though I love the bramble bush and rockface themes.

Yeah I was tempted to post the entire soundtrack at first but decided against it.

And for a change no Rare game but probably one of my favorite games on the SNES.
