What really got to me was that Worf had broken a few (not one, but A FEW) ribs fighting the Jem'hadar. Bashir examined him after the 6th Jem'hadar. Bashir said any one of those ribs could have punctured a lung at that point, and then Worf went on to go beat up an additional six or seven more Jem'hadar soldiers. Jesus, I mean, Kahless.

and he was fighting the first, a honored elder, ( for the uninitiated, a honored elder is a jem'har who has survived for more than 20 years of active), martok was telling worf "dude, you proved yourself. just stay down and chill" and his response was "fuck that! i'm a klingon and i don't quit!".

hence why the first gave up.

Indeed, I think Worf and Gowron are the only Klingons that can go toe to toe against Kahless (well, a clone of Kahless with the memories of the original but that’s being technical there).

Wait, unless I missed a storyline where Worf goes back in time to beat the original (this is Trek after all).

nope. i think the only time worf went back in time was when they ran into kirk and his crew. although he had to cover his head for............reasons.
