Default Why not have Superman date a male hero?

Hey if (some) people insist on Wonder W0man doing it why not Clark? Sure he's married and has a son but that doesn't mean anything. It could all be a cover.

I like to think he'd be dating Triumph in a universe where Clark was gay.

I seem to remember Superman hooking up with persons from other planets too. I am not sure if Superman ever hooked up with superdog or superhorse.

Can we point out the OBVIOUS fact that Wonder Woman comes from a hidden island where there are NO MEN WHATSOEVER, and these women live extremely long lives?

Are we seriously going to assume every single one of them has remained celibate for thousands of years?

(And let's not forget that just before they escaped to Paradise Island, the ladies had received MAJOR mistreatment from the men who tried to conquer them?)

I think it's fair to say that the odds of him (or Bruce) ever having a gay relationship is very, very, very, small. An Elseworld-like story? That I wouldn't rule out.

I'd be good with Clark being bi/pan and him having gone out with guys as well as girls before getting together with Lois.

Clark was never portrayed as gay. He wasn't raised in an all male community. He has a short list of female love interests.

OP, was your question even serious??

During the Silver Age, red kryptonite was always turning Superman into a half-ant or whatever. Just have a story where it turns him into a female, and go from there. Of course, since Jimmy Olsen was always cross-dressing back then, he had his share of male admirers who didn't know he was a guy.

Or there's always the bit with the pink kryptonite . . .

The dude has been chasing the same lady since 1938, so I wouldn't bet on it.

PAD's Supergirl had an alternate reality where pink kryptonite made Superman attracted to Jimmy.
