I'm starting to warm up to this a little bit. Certainly looks better than Ultimate.

In all fairness, Ultimate is a short measuring stick if there ever was one.

I wonder if what turns Ock into a villain is his tentacles get attached to him in an accident like they traditionally are and he blames Spider-Man for it?

Also interesting to see that Max Modell seems to be supplanting Dr. Connors as the science guy Peter always turns to. Makes me wonder what they're actually going to do with Connors since Lizard's been confirmed to be in it.

Just make it fun and enjoyable for all ages I guess. I've aged out of being hung up to the utmost about the thematic tone of these animated series. PG-13 animated Spider-Man just isn't going to happen outside of a straight to DVD project at best. Even this animated theatrical film I'm sure will be reeled in from being too intense.

I liked the SM cartoon that was voiced by Neil Patrick Harris. Peter was in college. My nephew who is 5 loves Spider-man so this will be good for him. But personally I'm stuck on 90's Peter who was trying to build a life.

And why did they go with Miguel's second suit instead of the classic one? Did they just want to go with a more current look?

The homemade suit also does look better without Peter's mouth exposed.

Yeah, I've said it before, Anya's hair and skin should not be the same colour - she isn't African-American! Her skintone should be darker than Peter's and Gwen's but lighter than Miles's. It's correct on the artwork, but not on the toy. That's not the only missing paint detail. Gwen's shoes aren't meant to be black.

Good, but no, the shoes definitely aren't coloured correctly on the other pic. It's like the paint was incomplete on what I assume was a prototype.

Is it just me or does the CG Spider-Slayer actually look better then Spider-Man does? At least when he's not moving (and even then) .

Poor Miles getting flung around like a ragdoll by Spider-Man. Not really feeling his voice either.

Some of these descriptions seem surprisingly high school centric. They don't even mention any Supervillains .

I wonder if they'll use Peter needing a date for the dance in "A day in the life" as a means of introducing Gwen or Mary Jane?
