The rarity scale with values between and including R10 to R1.5 Are absolute, and not governed by print run. With values R1 to R0 being relative to approximate print run

This will work well with those variant issues, that will clearly identify it's true rarity grade. Here is the future of our hobby

Thanks for the site. I have a couple of old Marvels that are shown as "rare" in price guides but nothing that shows it having a price that much different than other titles of the same time (and not first or double-sized or anything else special). They may not meet the necessary criteria.

The other side of supply is demand. Rarity matters when people wat the book.

This is true. Here is the the thing. If the book is in demand then Supply (rarity), does constitute higher values. the point of a rarity scale is it tells you how many are in existence approx. rarity does make a big difference even if it is dependant on supply and demand, which is in most cases. People want the rarer comic in general. This is why people put higher values on 35 cent variants.... what you said is generally not the case and is usually the exception, but in some cases your right. Rarity scale will give absolute values, which will stop people from using the word scarce when it suits them... the object of this is to Give you an accurate scale of rarity

Yes and you never know if it's true or not. People just throw words like rare and scarce to make whatever they are selling sound more appealing. In essence their Lieing. With this rarity guide people will not be as effective in lieing about whatever issue their trying to sell.. the other thing is it will tell you what the actual rarity is. The way I have set it up is very very comic collector friendly...

    Pump-King & His Buddies #1A (R9.8 Very Rare 25)

    Pump-King & His Buddies #1C (R9.8 Very Rare 15)
    Pump-King & His Buddies #1D (R9.8 Very Rare 15)

    Notes:
    • #1A & B are Black And White #1C & D have color interiors.
    • The story "One Minute After Midnight" in the B&W version and the "X-Farm" in the color version have the exact same art, but they are 2 heterogeneous stories with variegated panel layouts.
    • The story" Every Kid Wants To Be A Cowboy" is only available in the B&W version.
    • The Pump-King strips are only available in the color version.
    • Right now,bundle and save $$.
    • Samples

    Yep, good system.

Wink Simplified Comic Grading made simple

    Simplified Comic book grading

Here is the site its at. As-well as Whipples Simplified Grading
    Whipples Comic Grading

I made this last year. It's very simple, and it reduces subjective grading. This will help those who are not proficient at grading. It should put you very close, to the actual grade. Happy Grading

Take a look at the comic book Rarity Scale
This is the future of Comic Book Rarity scale / guide R10.0 to R0.5
Another break through in comic book collecting

Thank you very much for viewing.....

Very easy to follow and understand.. Its Universal

This makes it a little Clearer

*R1.0 *= 90% of print run, but more than 30001 issues
*R0.5 = 95% of print run, but more than 30001 issues

**eg. if a print run is 1500 issues, then rarity would be R5.5 (Uncommon)
**eg. if 600 issues are known to exist, then rarity would be R7.5 (Very uncommon-to-Scarce)
**eg. if *250 issues are known to exist, then rarity would be R9.0 (Scarce Minus )
**eg. if *2500 issues are known to exist, then rarity would be R4.0 (Slightly uncommon)
