SOOOOOOO Many Appreciation Threads.......Who is NOT deserving?

I agree there has been an abundance, maybe even an over abundance of appreciation threads since the cbr reboot. But once things and people settle in to the new forum I believe things will get back to more topical means of discussion.

You kind of get the sense that there are still a lot of posters still in shock from the big overhaul. It still feels very unsettled, if that makes any sense to you. I figure that by
next week, it will be back to business as usual for most of us, though.

The appreciation threads are great. I enjoy when fans talk about their favorite characters and/or politely disagree.

Perhaps, if there was an Avengers sub-forum again some of the appreciation threads could be wrangled?

I don't feel so bad anymore...looked at the Xbook's forum and there is like 20 of them on the 1st page alone lol

It's pretty ridiculous. There were plenty of threads on the old forum much more deserving of resurrection than the myriad Appreciation Threads, yet in the first 48 hours every one of the new boards is inundated with them... *eyeroll*

It would be harder to create an all inclusive Marvel Character Appreciation thread because those who post more would inadvertently flood the page with their fav character topics..that someone else may not appreciate as much. Unlike the CBR off-topic which is a legitimate free flowing chat....

i think it will calm down. I mean I like a lot of Marvel characters but I don't post in every Appreciation thread.

There was one, for sure. It was relatively new at the time the forum was rebooted; it was created shortly after Patsy had an appearance in the current She-Hulk ongoing.

I've made two threads for two fairly obscure characters. Do they have 20,000 posts like some threads? Not even close. But they have been places for people to share their love for each character, involving some interesting discussion as well.
