Yes. It's one of those comics that rewards you for sticking with it. Seeing Violet grow as a character and a vigilante has been very satisfying.

Does anyone know if John Paul Leo will be doing any more art for Mother Panic, or is that gig over for him?
I appreciate the distinct style of Shawn Crystal (who seems to be returning in #10) but really thought JPL's complimented the series incredibly well.

I've long thought that Violet and Kate are very similar characters, and this is one of the clearest examples of that; it's much like what Kate said to Scarecrow in issue 9 of her current series, just in Violet's more terse manner of speaking.
