Nightwing #7 Preview

The wait has been too long, this looks fantastic.

If I were to nitpick though, I'd have to complain about the Monster Men reference, not because I disliked the crossover, but because the reference will feel out of place when the whole story (Rebirth, 1-4, 7-8) are collected in trade, and it doesn't really add much to anyone who read those events. It just sort of exists to acknowledge that it happened. This kind of this is a pet peeve of mine. The stories that hold the test of time (Think Year One, Arkham Asylum, Long Halloween, etc.) aren't dragged down by current continuity for it, so it reads much more like a standalone story.

Dammit I said I was going to be positive, but here I am nitpicking.

Otherwise, really looking forward to this.

I jumped the gun with Monster Men, and overacted a bit, but ya its nice to be getting back to his actual series. Lots of Grayson bits in the preview. Which i never mind.

Glad to see Dick and Tigers relationship is still good. I just really like their interactions together. Also glad to see the story get on track.

I never cared for Tiger's character, he was a massive downgrade from Helena in my opinion, but it is nice the story is getting back on track after the crossover.

There was talk about Dick and Bruce having another fallout and I guess that might happen in this arc rather than the crossover which is what sets him off to leave Gotham again to go to Bludhaven again.

I really love that Tiger; Midnighter and the skull girls pop up periodically. I'm somewhat conflicted about Tiger consoling Dick. On the one hand, yay friendship! On the other hand can we stop harping on about Tim? That's a really petty quibble

Reading this was like finding gold on the pavement, glad that MM rubbish is out of the way and next time DC put more thought in to these than just making things bigger and bigger.

This is my favorite Rebirth title by far. Seeley is killing it!

Damn this book is pretty. Hopefully Seeley can get back the momentum completely thrown aside by that godawful Monster Men crossover.

Batman and Robin eternal showed a bunch of Spyral agents apparently wear that outfit.
