    Default The Exorcist TV Show

Has anyone been watching this? Comes on Friday nights on FOX. Before it started I didn't think much of it, I'm not the biggest fan of the first movie, but I ended up watching the first episode when it can on and I've been watching ever since. So far the whole thing has been surprisingly good. It's going to be the fourth episode tonight.

    Clip from the last episode.

Strange for you to say your not a fan of the 1st movie ( I can understand if you said any of the sequels) as the series plays on using the same feel of the original feel, as for the series itself I do say its been good so far but in the end I still have doubts how they can maintained a series with the current premise.

I like it. It's entertaining. Good modern adaptation of the original movie's style.

Same here. That ending was indeed a shock.

I was kind of wondering if she could have been when the demon told the girl it was actually interested in another person, and the dad was wandering around looking at his wife like he was. The first movie had also come up in a previous episode. Still, that seemed almost like a wild long shot guess, so it was still a surprise when it actually happened.

I kind of would have loved a scene of police investigating that ambulance more than the news report we got. I would imagine cops trying to figure out just what exactly the hell happened there would have made for a good scene.

Unfortunately, I had a "What kind of mother would pull her daughter out of the hospital..." moment where I went "Oh, wait. There's only one set of circumstances where a mom would do this."

Once I had that thought, it seemed like it had to be what was coming.
