Yeah I was glad to see She Wolf returning. Not my favourite book by a long shot if I'm honest, but it looks different enough that I'm glad there will be more of it. Variety is always good. Also looks like Invisible Republic will probaby be back for at least a fourth arc! Also once again gonna recommend A Land Called Tarot to anyone who likes sprawling landscapes.

By the way did anyone hear whether those Isola: Prologue pages will be published elsewhere too? Motor Crush doesn't appeal to me, Isola does, so I don't really wanna spring for these unless they won't be in issue 1 of Isola.

Is Birthright ending at #25? Solicit suggested some importance to #25. And now that Williamson is DC/Vertigo exclusive for all his new content, makes sense to end his old stuff soon...

Anyway, my list. Solid month. Last volume of Chew!

    plan to get:
    Birthright
    Manifest Destiny
    Drifter
    Elephantmen
    Saga
    Horizon TPB
    Chew TPB

    may get:
    Cannibal
    Moonshine
    Motor Crush
    Rockstars
    Frontier
    Mayday
    No Mercy
    Officer Downe TPB

    trade-waiting:
    The Few
    Postal
    East of West
    Revival
    Southern Bastards
    Southern Cross

    MIA/preferred format not avail:
    Paper Girls
    Monstress
    Snotgirl
    Copperhead
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008

trade-waiting - Ice Cream Man, Monstress

backlog - Blade of the Immortal, Mignolaverse, Promethea, X-Cutioner's Song

Was hoping for some nice deluxe edition hardcovers. We are due for some in Saga, Wicked and the Divine, and Descender (hopefully) amongst many others.

The second deluxe book for Saga is scheduled for an April release. Still quite a bit unfortunately.

    Definitely:
KILL OR BE KILLED #5 I love this series so much, so I am so glad it's not going on a break or anything.

KILL OR BE KILLED, VOL. 1 TP

    Maybe:
THE FEW #1 - Kinda cool premise.
    MOTOR CRUSH #2
A LAND CALLED TAROT HC - Title sounds cool... this isn't Tarot, Witch of the Black Rose related, is it?
Favourite characters: Wally West, Dick Grayson, Cassandra Cain, Cyclops, Jay Garrick, Jamie Madrox, Stargirl, Bucky Barnes, Magik, Jon Kent, Kate Bishop, Booster Gold

    Regular pulls:
Adventureman, Cable, Fire Power, Green Lantern, Hellions, New Mutants, Thor, Vampire: The Masquerade, Venom, X-Factor, X-Men

Not a bad month at all. Thought for sure Copperhead would be back this month, but not yet I guess. Drew Moss is still posting Copperhead WIP's on his Twitter account. Seven to Eternity is taking a month off after 4 issues and Monstress is taking a month off after three issues back from it's break. But the art in both of those is so great that I can understand.

What surprised me was seeing Manifest Destiny back after only two months off after it took so much time off going into it's Sasquatch arc. Yay!

And I don't think Birthright is ending at #25. I think it's a big turning point story wise. I think this is a story that Joshua Williamson plans to go for awhile as long as sales are good because he's talked before about this massive world and epic story he's created with artist Andrei Bressan.

    Getting...

    AD: After Death #3
    Birthright #21
    Black Road #6
    Black Science #27
    Descender #18
    Drifter #16
    East of West #31
    Frontier #3 (If I like #1)
    Green Valley #4
    Invisible Republic #15
    Manifest Destiny #25
    Postal #17
    Savage Dragon #221
    Southern Cross #11
    Spawn #271
    Wayward #20

    On break/hiatus..

    Autumnlands
    Black Magick
    Copperhead
    Dying and the Dead
Five Ghosts (Fingers crossed for 2017!)
    Goddamned
    Hadrian's Wall
Injection (Should be back in February's solicits according to Declan Shalvey's Twitter.)
    Lazarus
    Low
    Mechanism
    Monstress
    Outcast
    Seven to Eternity
    Trees
    Velvet
    Wytches

@Dr_Cheesesteak nope! Just going to be a big issue and milestone for the series!
This actually puts me in a bit of a pickle. I'm in need of cutting my pull list from 20-something to a dozen-ish. Birthright is a cut candidate (however, also a candidate to be moved to trade-waiting). If it were ending at #25, I'd keep it, knowing it'll end soon anyway. Now that I know it's not ending soon, it is likely to suffer the axe...

I think I'll check out God Country too.. Cates tweeted that if we liked the LOGAN trailer.. combined with West World.. this is what we'd get. That's a good sales pitch for me.
