Nice pics. That one of Dani in her post Fall off the Mutants costume almost makes me like the look. Almost.

I've been thinking, that Astonishing team has 3 hand to hand fighters and 2 ranged fighters, but no flyers or psi powered characters. I think there's a chance the other team members are a repowered Moonstar and Siryn.

Do you think if so, that could be the thing leading to Dani's original Mutant powers returning, instead of MotherVine? Like somehow, due to the nature of their abilities, it acts as a kick-starter of sorts?

So overdue for Mirage to regain her powers and get back on a team. What is up with Marvel and denying us fans of the wonderful 80's younger leading ladies (Mirage, Magik....) becuase they kick butt and are such interesting characters with fascinating power sets. I do not understand it. Hope we get Mirage back soon!

Moondragon did something similar to Hellcat and it would explain how Tran knew about the Asgardian site and was able to trap Illyana in a illusion.

This is awesome news, and I'm REALLY likin' the idea. It makes perfect sense, and would be unique to Dani, regarding the return of her Mutant abilities.

This would almost suggest, I think, that those said powers lost on M-Day... were merely suppressed, and not ever gone/removed completely? IDK, maybe not.

Also liked the tension brewing between Moonstar & Magik, in ish #4. Which would be real, sorta, if your theory is correct. And GREATLY look forward to the inevitable showdown, if so. Especially, if it and the...

Some great ideas in here about repowering Moonstar. Here's to hoping something happens soon that finally gives Dani her powers back. Much like Storm's depowered phase, its gone on long enough, and needs to be rectified.

And most definitely, Dani being repowered, is LONG past due. And I know it makes some fans groan, but I'd love to see the return of her psionic arrows, in addition to the empathic illusions. Ah, this whole thing, in A LOT of ways...
