Back to Dani. Did we discuss her best costume? I can't really weigh in, 'cause I don't like any of them. The girl has the worst taste. I mean, the shorts outfit was okay, but I just can't believe she'd wear it to a fight. As streetwear, sure, she likes to show some skin, but in battle? No way.

AOX was good bc it was the least generic and something specific to her

The AOX one was okay. Not spectacular, but not bad. The only problem with that X-Force one is the primary colour scheme. I wouldn't mind a variation on that in better colours. And no head band. I really miss the time when you'd see Dani with different hairstyles.

They were pretty good, but again, that colour scheme. The X-men need to ban the black/blue & gold for a bit. It's become so generic.

Back on the former topic for a moment, I found some Onslaught era comics in the wrong place today and was looking through them. I'd totally forgotten that Warren had a place in the Colorado Rockies. Interesting coincidence.

Okay, bad form replying to my own post, but something just occurred to me.

Why did Prof X not know Dani was a mutant sooner? Or did he know?

Black Eagle was a teacher of Xavier's. William Lonestar was a close friend of his. Xavier says he was there when Dani was named. Why didn't they tell him Dani was a mutant before there was no other choice? Why did William and Xavier drift apart? (They must have or we would have heard of the Lonestars sooner.)

Did Dani's family not trust Xavier for some reason? Or did Xavier just pretend not to know? They'll probably never touch on this, but now I really want to see a meeting between Dani and X.

An easy mistake, that art was good.

Red is good or maybe turquoise like her old belt.

Maybe not destiny, but it could make a good flashback story of them almost meeting. Makes me wish I had time for fanfic.
