I think they're really stretching it to call Gwen Stacy one of the most beloved characters in Marvel's history, but I guess that's par for the course with Gwen at this point .

It'll be nice to see Julia again, especially with the original Madame Web apparently showing up in this arc (as a clone).

I still don't get why Silk needs a new costume just because she's in a new city, though I guess it's in-character for Cindy to overthink things, but I do like her new costume. It has a nice Asian flair to it .

True, though she should learn from Peter's example. He did it all the time and no one ever figured it out .

It's a gimmick to reinforce sales. Hers haven't been so good lately and they need it now when she's going to be part of a tie-in event. If more people buy her book they could also check out the rest of the event. And take into consideration her temporary outfit hides her identity as much as her old one did.

The Jackal's paradise! Or Deadpool's paradise, as I still remember that one comic where he was being attended to by a harem of Gwen Stacy clones dressed in maid outfits.

Also, glad for the confirmation that the Madame Web appearing in Prowler is Julia Carpenter. I was getting a bit confused for a while, since the Madame Web advertised in the initial promo art for Dead No More/The Clone Conspiracy looked a lot more like Cassandra Webb than Julia.

It's pointless. Nobody noticed when Silk's hair was cut by Black Cat, and Cindy turned up at the work the next day with a bob. Shouldn't the fact Cindy and Silk both cut their hair at the same time have rang alarm bells?

Yeah, I agree that it's a stretch though I think it's fair too say that her popularity has increased compared to what it once was before Stone played her.
