Yeah, I think that if Batman : White Knight is well received (and honestly, I kind of dig the premise but I'm wary of the execution) it could be one of the best thing to Duke, because it'll raise his profile a little while his mini will be going.

Well, that's certainly interesting. I wonder what role he'll have in White Knight? If that's supposed to be him the penciled picture, he's certainly older here.

Not sure is the first issue's out, but if he's allied with Batman, that'd make him a villain, though, assuming I understand how the story works.

Wow! That's the first I've ever seen that. That's actually pretty cool! I like the sleekness of the suit. Like a more futuristic Robin suit. I'm kinda wishing that was a thing now.

Ah, I see.

I do recall hearing that, but even back then, that was a disingenuous "criticism" that was grossly exaggerating at best and tactlessly basely at worst, similar to the complaints of early Simon allegedly being a stereotype (though in that case, it felt more like an excuse to downplay a character's nuance/serious characterization/backstory from a new character they didn't like).

If that's what he meant, then I don't think that'll be a worry here.

Ouch, didn't know that, i'm not keeping myself at day with Duke, but frankly i hope that this proves to be a good thing by the long term.
