This looks really good. I loved the tone. We might get a good Wolverine film after all.

So it looks like despite averting the events of Days of Future Past, things still got kind of messed up. Unless it's like the comic storyline, and just sort of self-contained/alternate universe/future. Or maybe Logan has to go back in time to fix things again ala Sounds of Thunder.

I'm actually a bit reminded of the original Mad Max, in which things are clearly dystopic but not quite to the level of the "desert wasteland" sequels. Of course, Old Man Logan was in part inspired by that film....also the Playstation game Last of Us, although that's a game that uses a lot of apocalyptic tropes as well (Zombies etc.)

I like that, despite some of the liberties they're taking with the story, the world of this movie is a very similar dystopia and "road trip" feel as in the Old Man Logan story.

It definitely feels like the less Superhero-y, more emotionally driven and grounded, movie they described it as, and so far I think it looks pretty great .

Though I'm sure future X-Men movies will contradict whatever impact this has on continuity at this point so I'm not too worried about Mutants apparently going extinct again .

Curious to see what's going to be done with Laura. I like how they seem to be handling her relationship with Logan.

I'm in for sure. This looks interesting. Sick of the "mutatns all gone" thing though... again. Movie isn't set THAT far in the future. But I guess you can't put it too far int he future if you wanted Prof X in it

Well that is not even half as crazy looking as I'd hoped for. This doesn't look like there will be in dinosaurs in it. Not really surprised the hand in the poster is X-23. Wonder if that means she isn't showing up in the main movies ever?
