Default New Avengers 17 Preview / Discussion

Here it is gang. I can't count the number of posters that called the twist, but I don't find this reveal any less satisfying because DAAAAAMN, Ewing writes the hell outta these characters!

I'm surprised Ewing revealed it so soon.
I was expecting Sunspot to pretend being dead until the very end of the ongoing.

It was a nice preview, I really hope that the New Avengers beat the crap out of Garret.

Well, we have a few things to consider for the remainder of the New Avengers run.
    1) There is still a funeral scheduled
    2) There's the yet-to-be-explained white streak in Roberto's hair during USAvengers
    3) Ewing was interview on Jay & Miles X-plain the X-Men, stating there would be a number of additional New Mutant guest stars (presumably for Berto's funeral, be it staged or legit

So. Teddy's fake out may even be a fake out for we readers. <shrug>
Ewing does enjoy his triple agenting. haha.

I wonder where are Toni Ho and Aikku. Did they go with Roberto or will they help against Garret and the Duggans?

Is this the last issue already?
I liked this book, but decided to not continue with USAvengers. Just tired of all the relaunches. It seems Ewing's books can't catch a break, I remember how badly the Mighty Avengers relaunch affected that title.

Well, that was relatively quick. But in a fun way .

Cool seeing the two White Tigers fighting side-by-side .

Not that I didn't see that coming but I sometimes think they reveal too much in previews. Spoilers don't personally bother me or anythong, but but if the last issue ends in a cliff hanger I'm not sure you want previews to spoil it. Ah well...

I felt the same about Vision #12 preview.
It reveals a huge plot point.

Yeah, Garrett's as much a douchebag here as he was in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The AOS version was one of the bad guys all along, a HYDRA infiltrator, but then again, nowadays, S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't exactly count as "the good guys," either.
The spider is always on the hunt.
