Just watched this show. Very interesting, even if I would have liked a more faithful rendition. Very strange retro-feel. Is it meant to be set in the past?

It's not ever given a time period but based on certain equipment and clothing, I would imagine it being set in the late 70's/early 80's, though it is very much up to interpretation.

You mean not many comments on the show in this forum? Well there was quite a lot on reddit where I went to discuss it mostly. Maybe people here don't really think about Legion as a major character you know? Also the show did have quite a lot of filler

Obviously the Gifted, a marketed X-Men based show that comes on one of the big networks during primetime, just premiered. Legion, a fringe character at best with loose ties to the X-Men in terms of marketing and shows two hours before midnight on cable, is on hiatus.

Yes. Although I think Legion definitely made its X-ties more overt toward the end.

Does anyone know when Legion's coming back?

I'm hoping they'll do a Season 1 marathon at some point because a family member's randomly decided AFTER it finished airing that she'd be interested in checking it out. And of course it's not available On Demand or on Netflix or anything, because that would be too easy, right?? :P

I think it's on Hulu. Paid Hulu. Which I don't have. Sigh. Lol.

This is one show I will happily skip from now on. I considered the first season to be hardcore "cringe porn" and will not put myself through another season. I cannot understand how people could be into this show unless they are the type who love anything that is super "quirky" and off-the-wall weird. The actors themselves didn't do bad necessarily but every single God awful music number or dance scene made me squirm in sheer shame for watching. The only positive for me was the funny looking Shadow King.
