You know one thing i would like to have seen it shown that Prof X freed a young Storm from Farouks grasp.

Season 1 of this show is one of my favorite blocks of TV ever. Said Taghmaoui is beyond brilliant as Farouk.
But what happened this year? It's choppy, disjointed, and there is no recognizable narrative. I hope it all comes together at the end, but I'm losing hope by the week.
What? Said Taghmaoui was casted and left season 2 like 3 - 4 weeks into filming. Navid Negahban is amazing at Shadow King.
Sorry, yes, I meant Negahban. That was a simple mistake, I did a quick check on google when I should have gone to IMDB. Negahban has been ridiculously perfect.
He's also about the only thing going well so far this season. Which is unfortunate.

Okay, so we can now actually determine the time period this show takes place in now. From this exchange:
Oliver: Remember Bombay?
Melanie: It's called Mumbai now.
The official name change happened in 1995. Oliver was in ice for 21 years. So it's set in after 1995 to present. I'm leaning toward early 2010s.
Unless it was a throwaway dialogue without much research put into it.
But Oliver helped build Summerland with Walter in the 1940s supposedly, and the fashion choices of young Melanie are very 1960s oriented.
It doesn't really resolve anything I don't think.
This episode was actually a lot more exciting for me than last one was. I liked it. Did it resolve a ton of plot questions no but at least it was fun to watch.

My god Aubrey Plaza just keeps getting hotter
Stick "we work together and we get out of here alive"
Matt "peace out suckas"
Renewed for season 3.
I'm happy for s3 , wonder about episodes.
Do hope they try to get more close to canon, in s2 I feel like it's just too wild and free and untethered from anything familiar, just homages/ripoffs to various other films and stuff. It's artistic and all but at some point would appreciate a more elaborated story that people can follow along while the season is airing and that connects with the comics background
