I know Random is a teenager and Blue is a book about teenagers but I really like the adult appearance of Random a lot better. A miner complaint I guess but I hope they use his adult looking version more than the teen version.

In theory, Random should be able to change the way he looks.

Yes, but I just never could get over Random being a teenager. It really ruined the character for me.

Same thing here. It made no sense.

Lots of things in comics make no sense.

I really disliked Random as a teenager idea that they did - I, too, feel it took away from the character. However, that said, Rage (from Avengers, New Warriors) is pretty much just like Random - and he's most frequently wrote very adult like in tone. So if they use Random as a teen, but keep him mostly in his adult form, I am more than happy with that - and the fact that Bunn is writing Random? It's literally too amazing to believe!! (Although, as a teen he was shown with hair - in that picture he looks bald and not wearing a bandana which I actually also liked). But again, anything that puts him on people's radar makes me happy.

I don't have the comics in front of me, but wasn't it Mike Carey who kept Rando in his adult form as an Acolyte. as I said I don't have the comics anymore so I could be wrong.

In fairness, the incarnation of Acolytes that included Random was probably the shortest lived one. So never showing him in his "true" form wasn't much of a shock.

YA I knew I had something wrong as I no longer have the comics. I'm glad it was just that Random had a short run with the team. I would look a lot more foolish if Random had actually not been an Acolyte in that story.

Yes... It'd be nice if Random remained in his tougher, appearance... because now, he sort of looks like Maggot.

    I can understand that.

Sadly his appearance in X-Men Blue was a tease... he was in one or two panels, I think, at the most.

    Was hoping for way more.

Yeah. Anything that's got Random in it, I'll read. So I enjoyed it, if for no other reason, than the fact he was being used.
