I didn't really get Remy's motivation in joining the Jean Grey school. I got a call from Logan and was like "Ok".

I was thinking Gambit as more of a CQ Combat instructor and Bishop as a Tactical specialist and field leader. Working a a futuristic policeman he theoretically knows how to train squads.

The thing with having Remy and Bishop as senior staff you would need a Headmaster above them with a less murky past. I would be up for Jubilee as Headmaster. She is inexperienced and young but that would be fun, watching the trial and error. Plus Jubilee knows first hand what its like to be a kid in this environment and would really put her heart and soul into making the school work.

Yeah, I didnt like where it led either. Gambit pining after Rogue... But I get it. I assumed you meant Gambit wanting to just "protect" the kids. He's not the motherhen type. But him making sure none of them are victims again or cant defend themselves without their powers, all the while switching from down to earth and charming to dreadfully/ scary serious when he see's holes or lapses in concentration; that'd be awesome. Go back to "we can't figure him out" at least with the kids. That was the best Gambit.

I love the idea of Gambit and Bishop and wanted to add Warbird for security detail. Not sure about Jubilee as headmaster though.

Wow. Bishop being in charge of security with Warbird a part of his staff? Warbird has a different set of morals and ideas for punishment for violations. I can see him admiring her dedication but constantly having to stop her from taking the job a bit too seriously. Like nearly maiming a mail carrier or unannounced visitor (with super powers lol). That could be fun and a throwback to his relationship with Deathbird. Jubilee as head? Probably not, but definitely something along the lines of a guidance counselor.

But this is all things called character development and usage of continuity.

We already know bishop has a thing for crazy shiar women so there you go! Shipped and received. Also I think her going overboard is what would make it hilarious.

Yeah, Rogue needs to be back on Blue. With Gambit. Other than that I'm also cautiously optimistic. I'd love for Marvel to get their X-Men stuff back on the tracks. It derailed so long ago...

They should ignore their whole history and fall in love? then kiss? and then Rogue should quit X men? or leave Gambit on south pole?

I want to see Gambit with the likes of Deadpool and Daken, not fussing over whether or not Cyclops or Storm makes the better lemon meringue.
