Well knock out Storm and the X-mens without a warning was wrong but understand that the situation was complicated. The problem is that as we saw with Ulysses and his visions an image only gives you an idea of the situation and not the whole context. Emma thought the X-mens were under attack from their point of view.

Throwing Emma under the bus is probably the easiest way to handle things. Emma acting shady is no big... she was a super villain for a good chunk of her history, so no one expects her to act like mother theresa all of the time.

I think a big part of it was the Cinematic Universe having Inhuman pop up. It sort of createa some synergy.

Is the "crossing the line" comment based on what you see in the preview? If so, it's just referencing what happened in the previous issue. I don't think it crossed a line, although I think it was a bit of stupidity for the plot's sake (both on Scott's part and Daisuke's part). Unless you're referencing something else.

Well, the mist created the conflict. At most, he's amping it up (although he's certainly going to die).
