Having ragman work with team arrow already seems weird and makes them pointless. Hal would have to be dumb af, for team arrow to be usefull at all in most situations. The type of villian you need for A GL is too much for team arrow.
Marc Guggenhiem said months ago they don't have the money to do Green Lantern properly. How many times do they have to say it?
Because for other people easter eggs are fun. Just because a dad says they are moving back to Gotham doesn't mean Batman will show up
Just because the President says you should see my other jet doesn't mean she is secretly Wonder Woman.
the easter eggs are like saying "this is the only thing we can do" and that is annoying the harley quinn one was the most annoying easter egg and if baldy Marc Guggenhiem knew that they couldn't budget GL then they shouldn't drop time wasting easter eggs cause its pointless. this is just my way of seeing it. it maybe fun to others but to me its nerve racking
then how did they got the budget of doing the Flash and Superman?

DC has pretty much written off Hal Jordan anyway. Always in space and never on earth. Frankly it would be weird to see him on TV since DC has cut his ties to earth.
I would have thought the same things 5 years ago about having Hawkman/Girl or Flash or Supergirl/Man or even Steel used on a weekly show but they pull it off on a CW budget. I can't see how Green Lantern would be anymore costly than those if only used for an episode here and there.
To long time Green Arrow and Flash readers, Hal Jordan is a significant character in their stories. Hal Jordan means much less to Kara Zor-El; and Kyle Rayner doesn't mean a lot to Oliver Queen or Barry Allen.
As I said before, they could use Hal in ARROW, without using Green Lantern. Hal means something in reference to that whole character development of Oliver Queen--which wouldn't even exist if not for Green Lantern.
It would be cool for the writers on ARROW and FLASH to borrow from Green Lantern--just as they've borrowed from Batman, Firestorm, the Justice League, the Teen Titans. Beyond Hal himself, they could bring in Carol Ferris, Thomas Kalmaku, Hector Hammond, Guy Gardner, the Weaponers of Qward, Doctor Polaris, the Tattooed Man, William Hand, Major Disaster, Goldface, the Headmen, Sonar.
Word is the big CW crossover is going to involve the Dominators. If they can use the Dominators, then they can use the Controllers. And if they can use the Controllers, then they should be able to use the Guardians.
I don't get the budget issues. Yes it would be expensive, but it can't be as expensive as designing powers and effects for an entire team. If you can do Manhunter and Firestorm why would GL be such a stretch? Dropping those easter eggs was pointless then.
Have you watched those shows? Firestorm is rarely on screen, Jax and Stein always get separated, MM is also rarely on screen and is mostly a practical effect when he is, he hardly uses any of his FX budget heavy powers. The only way they'd ever do GL is to make him a Hand to hand combat specialist, and when does use his ring it's just like on JL and JLU, simple Beams and shapes.
If won't be a new character, we'll find out John was adopted and his birth name is John Stewart

Just how those shows don't have the hero powered up all the time I would just have Hal doing standard flying and using his ring as a tractor beam/force beam in most instances. Complicated constructs would be saved for finales or the crossover events. Or you could build in a reason to limit the ring by saying this is a young Hal. Again, with all the different powers and effects these shows have to deal with I can't see GL being that hard to figure out.
If there was a show for Green Lantern to appear on wouldn't Legends fit the bill better anyway? Arrow needs to stay grounded it is [dare i say] moving in the right direction this season so far...still a bit crowded but its back to where it needs to be.
