The Unworthy Thor #1 SPOILERS

- We start at the planet where the Ultimate Hammer is at and Thor is being held captive (Ibelieve its old Asgard). Narration tells ust hat every day, Thor breaks his chains and tries to reach the hammer but is eventually overwhelmed by his numerous captors.

- Cut ot the moon 3 months earlier. Alpha flight contacts Thor due to satelites and such being destoryed. thor arrives on the moon with his flying goat, heads into a pit and it is inhabited by Trolls

- Troll fight! Thor laments that he can no longer fly or move through dimensions. aNd the thunder sometimes ignores him. Trolls talk smack and Thor is joined by the Goat until he drives off the Trolls

- The Unseen appears before Thor and tells him of another Hammer in Asgard. I would assume the Unseen is Fury right?

- Thor arrives wehre Old Asgard was... and it is gone. Beta Ray Bill is there wwaiting for Thor. He tells Thor he knows where Asgard is but tells him it will take an army to get it back.

- BRB offers Thor his hamer.

It was a good first issue... although I'm still not sure if this'll be a mini series or a regular ongoing. In some interviews it was described as the first and in others as the latter.
So Nick Fury Sr. is the Unseen? Good to see BRB back with Thor.
Coipel is still at the top of his game.
Funny how this marks the fiftieth issue Aaron has written in his long-unwinding Thor saga. Anyone else got the impression that he'll write fifty more from the letters column at the back or was it just me?

I assumed, as we all would, that Thor would not know it was Nick. No one knows, they think he's dead.

This is a 5-issue mini but I'd say it's a safe bet that a new book arrives after this concludes.

Loved the first issue. I'm sure by the time this is done, we'll know what Fury whispered to Thor and it's clear that Thor is on a definite path to redemption.
