Default Talia Al Ghul coming to Arrow

Lexa Doig will be playing the first daughter of Ra's Al Ghul in a recurring role on Arrow.

"the daughter of Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) and the half-sister of Nyssa (Katrina Law). Worldly and cultured, Talia is an elite warrior who doesn't pick sides but rather creates her own. She will initially appear in episode 510 and appear in multiple episodes."

Well, everything is better with Lexa Doig in it. How does one pronounce "Doig" anyway?

I have no idea, I've been wondering how to pronounce her name for years now, from Andromeda to Stargate SG1, at least her husband's name is far easier to pronounce...

It won't be to much longer until we see Batman showing up.

and when they do, and they will, it will only make me hate GOTHAM more for not being adapted from Gotham Central.

In what universe is Gotham adapted from Gotham Central?

Loosely inspired, more like it, since like Gotham Central, Gotham focuses primarily on the GCPD and the viewpoint character to the craziness of Gotham is (usually) a GCPD officer.
The spider is always on the hunt.

As long as she doesn't fall for Ollie/have a previous relationship with him.

Which since Sara met her as a 12 or 13 year old in the sixties, should also indicate she's too old for Ollie.

Anywho, sort of hope we get a Dark Knight name drop, even though I'm sort of hoping our eventual Flarrowverse Batman will be in Supergirl's world instead.

    Fixed.

Supposed to have said "for NOT being adapted from Gotham Central."

I'm thinking Batwoman is more likely to show up on Supergirl than Batman, especially with Maggie Sawyer now being a main character. Probably just when Alex and Maggie start getting serious.
    The Berlanti-verse loves romantic triangles.

Gotham Central was far from the first book to do that.

And it shares no storylines and barely even characters with the Gotham tv series. Gordon wasn't even in Gotham Central. Bullock was in one arc, as a disgraced ex-cop.

What? And let all these great Batman characters go to waste just because somebody decided Batman was a movies-only character?

They've done more interesting things with Ra's and the League than any non-Scottish Batman writer ever did.
