Wonder what abhorrent thing Jurgens will make a loved character will do next painted as a positive.

This is really happening.
Now we're going to have Superman tell Jon (and the readers) why he's not wearing his old costume.
On the positive side, the art in this issue looks a lot cleaner than the last two issues.

Whatever the reason is, it will definitely include a unsubtle jab at New 52 Superman and his costume. You just know it will. Maybe even a rip on the current costume as well if not using the classic is an on-high edict like I think it is.

The new 52 costume never got much in the way of defending so who cares.
Kirkham is alright, right now I am digging the clarity and sleekness.

Just pointing out his penchant to take a shot at anything he doesn't like. Its the only thing he's accomplished during his run outside of ruining Lois, so I expect it to continue is all. It'll end up something like "Oh I just decided to try a new costume to try and fit in a bit with the fashions of this world, even though it sucks. Could be worse though, would you want me to wear what the other Superman wore? Har har har." Then Superman will help Lex beat some intergalactic charges that he's probably 100% guilty of and they'll hug it out afterward.

What do you even know about the New 52 suit? That thing had abilities of it's own. Like it could keep it's wearer powered in a Red Sun environment for an extended period of time. That's Useful. Plus it could help it's wearer metabolize Solar energy more efficiently. Useful. Kryptonite has a reduced effect on him. Useful. Plus the Cape was indestructible. USEFUL! The Supersuit was SUPER again. What was so bad about that?
