I haven't read any of them since their original release, but from what I recall, my order goes:
    1. Solstice
    2. Moneypenny
    3. Service
    4. M

I remember not really caring for Service or M that much.

I just picked up the first issue of the new ongoing 'James Bond 007' comic.
And I'm pleased to say that it's quite good and very promising. Intriguing story unveiled only in part, sharp, dry dialogue, memorable characters introduced with speed and efficiency, a nicely choreographed fight scene.
All in all, plenty of reasons to buy the next issue beyond simply picking up Bond because it's Bond and I want to like it.

There's also a short Young Bond comic in the November-December issue of Playboy. It, like the Origin comic it's basically an advertisment for, is okay in a bland less-than-Bond fashion. The hero could be young Tom Swift or young Indiana Jones or young John Matrix and it wouldn't alter the story much.

Glad to hear that it's a good start - looking forward to the HC :P

Yeah, great to hear it's a solid start to the series. I really need to get caught up on my Bond comics (and comics in general).

Also interesting that Playboy is including a comic in their issue. I haven't heard of that before.

The main other thing I remember seeing him in is The Prestige. I know I've seen him in a couple other movies but I'm blanking on the names of them. I know they were both minor appearances.

While it's not a major surprise, I'm glad to have confirmation that Harris, Whishaw, and Fiennes will be back for Bond 25. With Seydoux coming back as Swann, it's making me think more and more she is going to end up getting killed like Tracy from OHMSS. That said, I really up they are not that obvious and let Swann live through the film.

I agree. However, I think that with it being Craig's last Bond film, they may well see them off together in some way. Perhaps when the new Bond comes in it will be a clean slate again, like when Craig started.

It would seem that be Whishaw isn't planning on being around for #25. I didn't like what they did with the new Q, gadgets are an important part of Bond in my opinion, but I did like him in the role.

Oh, that's a shame to hear. I enjoyed him in the role. Are they replacing him in the role or are they just not including Q in the film? What didnt ypu like about him as Q?

If they remove Q I won't watch it :P I liked him as Q, I just felt that they are moving away from gadgets to just computers. As if Q is an IT analyst, not the gadget master of days gone by.

I think that might have a little to do with the Craig films trying to do the whole "back to the books" approach to things-Major Boothroyd/Q in the novels, like Moneypenny, isn't really a major part of the books, and he mainly just gives Bond guns (Dr.No is pretty close to this version of Q, when he replaces Bond's Baretta with the PPK). Also certainly the post-Fleming Bond literature has adapted more elements of the film version of Q, such as the recent comics (ditto with Moneypenny).

Funny thing is, before Craig, arguably the most Flemingish films (For Your Eyes Only and the two Daltons) actually have *more* Q screen time, although in the case of "For Your Eyes Only" it was partially due to the absence of M (presumabely, M would've given Bond the debriefing at the church late in the film, as Q doesn't have much of a reason to be there apart from the visual gag of him dressing as a priest and making a joke at 007's expense).

We've sort of had gadgets with Ben's 007, although that's mostly in SPECTRE with the watch and Bond's (unfinished) car.

Yeah, I would agree that the role change for Q in the films has more to do with the film crew trying to keep the Craig films closer to the Fleming tone rather than classic Bond film. While I hope Q is in it, I hope the last Craig film is closer the tone of Casino Royale rather than Spectre. I felt like in Spectre then tried to cram the Craig Bond into a Roger Moore type Bond film and felt it didnt work at all.
