If you like crime stories/mysteries I highly recommend the first season of True Detective. I enjoy the second season as well, but most people seem not to like it. But more to the main topic, I am curious if they are going to go with the script Boyle was planning to use or if the movie is going to be something else entirely.
It does look interesting. I like anthology series, although generally by episode rather than series (AHS being the exception perhaps).
I think that changing he whole thing might be a bit much, but I imagine that they will rework some things. If Craig is getting a major say in casting then I suspect that he has a role in many other aspects, so presumably he has a stake in what is already planned.

Interesting chat going on in the TV/Film forum;

If you ever get the chance to check out True Detective, you will have to let me know what you think of it. I've only seen a season of AHS (the season based around the H. H. Holmes style hotel) but from what I've seen I've enjoyed.
Honestly, I'm not really thinking about casting the next Bond until after Craig's last movie is out. That said, I do agree with you that if Damien Lewis would be perfect for the role if he was 10 years younger.
I hadn't really thought too much about it either, in fact, I haven't heard of most of the 'candidates' :P

Haha the main ones I keep hearing are Idris Elba, who like Lewis I think would have been fantastic 10 years ago but is too old now, and Henry Cavill, who I think auditioned for the role back when Casino Royale was being produced and I think would be a solid choice for the role. I also heard Tom Hiddleston for a while, but that seems to have died down over time.
Cavill could work... He seems almost 'too stereotypically Bond' though, if you get what I mean? xD

Haha yeah, I get that. I do think it would be interesting to see him in a role fairly different from his Superman role. While I thought the movie was meh, Cavill played a Bond like character in the Man from U.N.C.L.E movie and was solid in the role.

So maybe between us we can scrape the money together and share one?

Haha I'll have to ask my internship for a bit of a raise to cover my half of the costs....that is pretty awesome though. If I could just get the opportunity to drive one once, I would be pretty happy.

Please let this happen - she would be fantastic!

I would be all for this. I could see her playing a more outlandish Bond villain well.
The Body is due out this month if I remember correctly, I should pick it up. I just read V1 of Case Files - very nice other than a page printed twice, better than a page missing. I can't remember how my original feelings were, but I would rank them as such;
1. Service
2. Solstice
3. Moneypenny
4. M
